DESIGN CONCEPT

At the heart of Discovery Eola Bintaro, a home once known to have undergone a captivating evolution, has now evolved into a modern office space that gracefully blends tradition and innovation. With respect to its origins, the home’s original structure remains testament to its history, while contemporary architectural motifs have breathed new life into its design. Through the skilful utilization of metal fac;ade materials inspired by the local context and a strategic emphasis on maximizing openings, the house exudes a dynamic synergy of past and present.

The journey of combining two type of function, a home and an office, create new type of spaces that maintain a safe feelings of a home yet boost the productivity of an office. By keeping a clear boundaries between public and private areas but also creating new adaptable spaces to bring together families and co-workers.

Passive Design

In response to the pressing concerns of climate change, the concept of a home office
integrated with passive design techology emerge as a solution for this ever-growing
problem. Cross ventilation, orchestrated by well-placed openings to reassure a good
amount of air exhange. This symphony of movement is further complemented by the
ingenious stack effect, channeling warm air upwards and expelling it. Embracing natural
lighting to reduce the reliance on artificial illumination and thereby diminishing energy
consumption.

Design
