Settled in the cramped district of Kemang, the project was initiated with the ultimate private openness in mind. Seeking to balance the spaces of the house’s lot, the Kemang Selatan opted to maximize its rooms and outdoors to complement each other in a way that no other house can. With the use of prefabricated concrete block and steel plating, the Kemang Selatan house’s characteristics was hugely emphasized and meticulously formed in response to its narrow yet beautifully composed site.
With the house stationed close to the front side and kept the rest of its site open for outdoors, the Kemang Selatan house has clearly shown the ultimate feeling of leisure escapism that can only be achieved through architecture craftsmanship. A house thoughtfully made with the utmost understanding of personal space and sanctuary.
