Developed under the Nurul Islam Foundation of the City of Singkawang, Kalimantan Barat, was an idea of a grand mosque that is intended to showcase the growth of Islamic piety and community across Singkawang.
Based on the existence and dynamism of its people, the philosophy that drives design process for the Grand Mosque of Singkawang was formed through the long history of passion, progress, and sanctity that had existed since the beginning of the city itself.
