Pusat Informasi Pariwisata was an architectural design competition conducted by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism in 2019 to celebrate the cultural beauty of rural Indonesia. With designated locations throughout the archipelago, the competition was aimed to remind the Indonesian people of the brilliance of local values.
Assigned with a number of specific locations, we are proud to present our design concepts as participation towards such empowering movement for Indonesia’s cultural and identity revival; the Peta Voor Beta Morotai in Northern Maluku, the Lawang Bromo in East Java, and the Oud En Nieuw Tourism Information Centre in Kota Tua Jakarta, listed as our top three finalist.
